Vintage 1980s Monochrome Fan Shell Clip-On Earrings, Chunky Black & White Acrylic Mod Statement Jewellery

Plastic fantastic 80s fan shell look earrings. Very kitsch.

The clip mechanism itself is molded directly out of black plastic rather than standard base metal. Plastic clips and findings were a short-lived industry choice specifically popularized in the mid-to-late 1980s. They were designed to be lightweight, hypoallergenic, and seamlessly blend with the chunky aesthetic of acrylic costume jewellery.

 They are 2.2” long by 2.1” wide.

Really comfy and light to wear.

My handpicked jewellery is usually vintage and or preloved so please expect some signs of wear. I only sell pieces I would wear personally. The photos form part of the description so have a good nose. I delicately clean pieces in need but try and not remove patina from vintage or antique pieces as this removes the story of the piece.

I accept returns on everything if notified within 14 days but please be mindful that I am a one woman small business and only request returns for crucial reasons as I cannot sustain lots of them.
