Mid-Century Frosted Satin Glass Bead Necklace
Featuring irregular, sea-glass style briolette beads in a striking, soft aqua mint shade, this piece captures the light beautifully with a subtle, luminous glow. The molded glass beads are acid-etched to create an exceptionally smooth, silky satin finish that feels luxurious and cool to the touch. This classic single-strand design is secured by a period-correct, aged brass box clasp featuring a matching inset glass cabochon. It is unmarked but was common for many export pieces from West Germany and Czechoslovakia during this era.
It’s feels so lovely to touch and on your skin.

Some aged related patina which only makes it more charming.
The ring band looks a little bronzed and has lost some of silver coating. You don’t see any of this when wearing under the high dome.

My handpicked jewellery is usually vintage and or preloved so please expect some signs of wear. I only sell pieces I would wear personally. The photos form part of the description so have a good nose. I delicately clean pieces in need but try and not remove patina from vintage or antique pieces as this removes the story of the piece.
I accept returns on everything if notified within 14 days but please be mindful that I am a one woman small business and only request returns for crucial reasons as I cannot sustain lots of them.
Please see my returns policy at bottom of homepage for more info.
